- I needed to replace my A1200's keyboard due to a couple keys going
- dead so I whipped out an issue of Amazing to see if any dealers had
- them listed with pricing. I decided to give Software Hut a try.
- I phoned them up yesterday, was told they had A1200 replacement
- keyboards in stock, and I was quoted a $35 price.
-
- This was not some special press-scum/magazine writer/sysop price
- either. They didn't know me from Adam.
-
- I asked for overnight delivery and was quoted $22 for Airborne
- overnight. Didn't want to pay that much so I asked for 2nd
- day air, and was quoted $11. Sounded fine. Gave them my
- card number and that was that.
-
- This morning, the keyboard arrived by Airborne, overnite anyway,
- although I had only paid for 2nd day air. Arrived securly packed
- and in perfect, new condition.
-
- I've never done business with Software Hut before but this was
- an extermely satisfying buying experience. The goods were in stock
- and the price was extremely low (another dealer quoted me $125
- for a 1200 keyboard, and I've seen used examples selling for
- more than this new one cost me), and delivery was overnight.
-
- Therefore, I'd do business with them again.
